“archimprint” was founded by Hong Kong creator LeE-papa (Chi Leung Liu), whose practice spans illustration, photography, and graphic design.

His works primarily focus on old architecture and urban spaces, exploring the traces of everyday life and cityscapes that gradually disappear amid urban development. Some of the subjects portrayed have already been demolished or redeveloped, while others remain as historic buildings. Through drawing and imagery, he seeks to preserve fragments of places and memories once embedded within the city.

The works of “archimprint” often isolate the architecture itself, intentionally leaving negative space and minimizing surrounding environments or figures, allowing viewers to focus on the lines, proportions, details, and sense of time carried by each building. Beyond simple visual documentation, the works aim to preserve urban memories and emotional traces through artistic interpretation.

Alongside illustration, LeE-papa continues to participate in photography, design, and art exhibitions, and has been involved in public design and city-related visual projects. His works have been exhibited in both Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, and have received recognition from international art and photography platforms.

In 2022, LeE-papa held a solo exhibition at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Lei Yue Mun Plus, sharing memories and stories through works inspired by old architecture, and inviting viewers to reconnect with the emotional relationship between people, buildings, and the city.

“archimprint” hopes to leave traces of disappearing urban landscapes within rapidly changing cities, while encouraging people to rediscover the relationship between architecture, the city, and everyday life.
